Place in the Overarching Biblical Story

Savior for all. Luke-Acts together tell the story from Bethlehem to the ends of the earth. Jesus reaches the marginalized; the Spirit then drives the church in Acts.

Interesting Facts

  • Luke-Acts — One author, two volumes; Acts 1:1 refers to "my former book."
  • Women and poor — More parables and episodes involving women and social outcasts than the other Synoptics.
